This programme is for you if

You are a project manager or a specialist who is comfortable with computers and wants to build automation yourself, without programming.

What you get

By the end of the course you have three finished, working systems — and enough understanding to build others like them from scratch. What you will build:

System 1

A Data Automation PipelinePulls information from external API on its own and sends a structured report to whoever needs it.

System 2

A Dynamic AI AgentReaches your data and the web, makes logical decisions, and prepares and sends the information required.

System 3

A Secure, Auditable WorkflowRuns the defined steps within your security filters, and logs what it did in an audit trail.

Programme

Automation Logic and Algorithms

The difference between static automation and flexible AI agents. What makes a process suitable: frequency, rule-driven behaviour, predictability.

Practical work: analysing where automation could work, and designing the automation itself.

n8n Fundamentals and Basic Automation

n8n platform nodes, API keys and HTTP requests.

Practical work: automating data retrieval and email by connecting a trigger, a site API and an email summary node.

Building and Configuring AI Agents

The parts of an AI agent (brain, memory, tools) and prompt engineering: defining roles and the format of the output.

Practical work: building a multi-purpose AI agent with access to Google Calendar, Sheets, Gmail and OpenWeatherMap tools.

Security, Filters and Deployment

Putting safeguards in place and identifying the risks — hallucination, unauthorised actions — in a business setting.

Practical work: building a secure workflow with control checks on the output and activity logging for audit purposes.

Janis Judrups

An IT expert and experienced trainer who has spent 20+ years helping companies and public bodies put in digital solutions that actually work. A certified project manager (PMP) and Scrum Master, with a doctorate in engineering — though in practice he is best known for making automation logic make sense to anyone, whatever their technical level.

He currently advises organisations on data governance and AI adoption, runs practical workshops, and has published widely on digital transformation.
