This Programme Is Not for You If

Your organisation has not yet covered the groundwork — AI regulation, risk categories and ethical principles. This is the advanced course, for teams ready to work on anticipating risk.

Figures, trends and the reasons AI systems fail. Analysis of real cases, selected for your organisation's sector.

Categorising Risk
How AI creates new risks or amplifies existing ones. The difference between technological, organisational and external risk factors.

The Accountability Matrix
Who carries responsibility for the consequences of an incident, and what it does to the organisation — legally, financially and reputationally.

Defining Unacceptable Risk
Setting the criteria for incidents you will not tolerate. Work on real scenarios from your own sector.

Prevention Strategies
Plans for limiting damage and preventing incidents. Strengthening the organisation's resilience to technological shocks.

Expert in AI law, policy and ethics
Vija Kalnina, Dr. iur.

An expert in AI ethics, law and policy with more than ten years of legal experience across the private and public sectors. She specialises in business law and gives organisations tailored support on AI governance, responsible use and AI ethics.

She researched AI ethics and law in depth at Boston University as a Humphrey (Fulbright) fellow, working as a lead researcher on Harvard University's AI business ethics project. Her doctorate in EU law focused on the freedom to provide digital services.
